In the book thief we are told that there is a town in Germany called Molching. This town is where Liesel met her foster parents and grew up. This was in World war 2. Hitler had control over Germany and made them believe that extracting the jews from the german society was the right thing to do. But they did not know that millions of them were sent of to concentration camps to be killed. I then found out that molching was a fictional town that was created by the author that did not exist. The Author made this believable by putting facts into the story. For example, when he says that the town of Molching was close to Munich which is a actual town in Germany. This made me suspicious of what else i was being told in this story. This made me re think think the story of the book. I could also link it to the real world and what or if we are being told that is not true.
