One aspect of the book thief that is true is the book burning. We have found out that Mark Zuzak made up the town Molching. The Author also put in other facts about germany in that time that is also true, like hitler and his ways to get germany to believe that he is trying to help them. I think that the author has put these true facts in to get us more interested in the book because it was a very famous event. It was that that made me believe that Molching was a real town. The Author also links this to the way hitler lied to a country. He is also giving us an insight to the solution to how this problem could have been prevented. For example people believing what they are being told. So you can see how it links to the book thief when he is giving us false imformation.
